Course Details

This course is designed to introduce the participant to the evolution of the ways in which humanity has come to view reality and the impact it has had on medical thought. From anamisn to fetishism, from the belief in the unseen that became the foundation for the philosophy of Vitalism, to the belief in that which is seen which formed the foundation of materialism. These two schools of thought: Materialism and Vitalism are integrating into a 21st. Century Health Care movement that has come to be known as “Integrative Medicine” and referred to as Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM).

Course Objective

The objective of this course is to reintroduce the fundamental vitalistic philosophy that has traditionally served as the foundations for the missions of Chiropractic and the healing Arts. Vitalistic philosophy as opposed to “Materialism” is the basis of the core distinction between Allopathic medicine, Chiropractic, and health care.

This six hour course is presented in classroom open lecture, and in distance learning format for thoses unable to attend in person. The course is presented where questions and discussions are welcomed. Notes are e-mailed in advance.

Ser. Edwin has practiced chiropractic in Los Angeles, CA, since 1978 and practiced Somiatry in Boise, Idaho, since 1996. He teaches continuing Education to chiropractors in Los Angeles, CA. Ser Edwin has traveled throughout the United States, Enugu, and Africa. He studied with the world-renowned Homeopath Subrata Kumar Banerjea from Calcutta, India, where he trained physicians in classical Homeopathy. Ser Edwin received an A.S. degree from Southwestern College, Bonita, a B.S. degree from Pacific Christian College, Fullerton, CA, an M.S. degree from the University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport, Conn. Ser. Edwin graduated from the University of Pasadena School of Chiropractic Degree: Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) Dr. Floyd is currently the President of QUANTUM~VERITAS International University Systems. He became a Diplomate to the American Chiropractic Board of Nutrition and a Fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture.
