Today we are exposed to alternative approaches in just about every aspect of our lives. Healthcare and Education are major areas being greatly impacted by the current wave of alternative thought. It was reported in the January 1993 edition of the New England Journal of Medicine that one out of three members of the U.S. adult population used unconventional therapy in 1990. Increasing amounts of Americans are utilizing some form of alternative health care products and/or services. However, less than 10% of the nations health care professionals know anything about the concepts of Dynamic Integrative Medicine and Functional Healing. This produces what could become a major hazard to Americans state of health. As demands for more options to address health care concerns continue to increase it can be predicted that the demand for physicians trained to appropriately integrate their healthcare services will continue to increase as well.

If there is not an ample number of health care professionals adequately trained to address the growing demands for more integrated medical services more and more individuals, amounting to a major component of our population will resort to whomever may appear capable of providing the services they desire. This can lead to an alarming number of Americans being treated by less than adequately trained individuals who may not have the skills to competently assess and address the health issues of this growing population. This puts at risk, the health of the individual, their immediate environment and the community at large.

In September of 1998, the then 25 year-old California nonprofit charter of Quantum University joined forces with the International College of Homeopathy, an Idaho nonprofit institution, and Veritas International University, a California nonprofit institution to form QUANTUM-VERITAS International University Systems, a critically vitalistic center for higher learning, now known and referred to as QVIUS.

This institution is designed to address the academic demands of the medical community as well as the professional student. Courses are tailored to accommodate the busy professional. Collectively these institutions joined forces to promote one primary purpose referred to as "the QVIUS mission". We have and continue to development an academic institution that produces both well trained healthcare professionals who are thoroughly grounded in the health sciences, possessing integrative medical skills, and a comprehensive knowledge and appreciation for the healing arts and dynamic functional healing.

It is estimated the emerging Trillion Dollar Industry for Healthcare will make a profound impact as students throughout the world will desire to desire to take part in opportunities offered by this dynamic institution. It is our belief that providing the opportunity for all to participate in educational programs that emphasize the vitalistic aspects of Life, Health, and Healing in an organized, professional, and integrated setting, is a noble service and benefit for all those seeking quality dynamic healthcare.

Natural laws that are believed to be those that govern the universe, are the same laws believed to govern the Natural Healing arts i.e., Ayurveda, Chiropractic, Homeopathy, Oriental Medicine, etc. These healing arts are based on the dynamics of physics and are but a few that are recognized as methods by which the transport of universal intelligence thought living organisms is facilitated. However, these processes need to be further observed and researched.

The goal is to graduate physicians and associated healthcare professionals who are well trained in Dynamic Medical Science & Functional Healing so that they may be fully prepared to work in an integrated setting along-side other professionals within the health care community.

Principles traditionally accepted by universities of the world have primarily been based on materialistic views that see reality as the sum total of its physical, visible parts. As a result medical training in the past 200 years has primarily focused on teachings based upon reductionistic biological and medical science.

"QVIUS" is an academic institution designed to serve as a model of education for the Postgraduate, Graduate, and Undergraduate student. The goal is to produce both well-trained professionals and paraprofessionals who are thoroughly grounded in the health sciences, possessing medical skills, and a comprehensive knowledge and appreciation for the dynamic healing arts. Functional Healing Arts are commonly referred to as "alternative" because they present an approach to health and healing different from that of traditional western medicine.

The focus of this institution concentrates on finding the derangement in the communication between Innate Intelligence and the expression of its Vital Force. Learned techniques are then applied to the body in an attempt to correct such energetic derangements. QVIUS remains committed to research, teach, apply and perpetuate Universal Laws and Truths to benefit mankind.
